Sweet Treat Tuesday: Adorable Yellow Coats

Every winter without fail I get a bee in my bonnet to get a new winter coat. Last winter I was all about practical and got a very basic Northface. It was awesome for travel, but can you say booo-ring!! This year I am obsessed with sunshine yellow! So cute and fresh! See if you agree!

Interesting choice from the prop stylist here...bills haphazzardly splaying out of a satchel while eating an ice cream....but they redeem themselves with the awesome tights choice!

Sweet Treat Tuesday: Lush Leopard

Leopard is one of those things that when it is right it is sublime. Of course when it is off, it can be awful.

Leopard has been a decadent staple in my wardrobe since I had control over my own pocketbook. (Mums favored Izod you see...) I adore a faux leopard vintage coat, or that just-right handbag. For a long time you saw mainly red lips mixed with the bold print, but now leopard has become such a neutral that retro gals no longer hold the exclusive braggin' rights.

Soft peach neutrals, or creams look nice with leopard. As does denim. And my favorite combo, pink.

Leopard print has become a basic all by itself.

General rule of thumb: One leopard piece at a time.  All other faux-pas can be discussed openly.

Sweet Treat Tuesday: Glamour Breakfast

Breakfast is my favorite meal! If you are one of those people who habitually skips it, I encourage you to reconsider this rut. Part of well-being is feeding your body with beautiful foods. Dare I say you can go nuts with calories here too because you will burn them off, no prob.

Eating a good breakfast sets the tone for the rest of your day. Nurture yourself everyday with this lovely meal.

Sweet Treat Tuesday: Fall Picnic

I am always sad to see summer go. I have a sleepy, dreamy summer girl inside me that refuses to let it go. But I love fall too. The clean air, chilly nights, and low light. Time to squeeze out one last picnic.

I like to keep it simple. Blanket, ice tea with lemon, and maybe a sandwich. For me it is all about lounging on the blanket with my favorite pillow. Nodding off as the clouds roll by.

Heaven.
